Last month, Alphabet’s Wing division began delivering packages by drone in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and it may not be long until other major organizations catch up. These airborne services could revolutionize how quickly our supply chain reacts to our purchases. You might receive your orders quicker, and there could be fewer delivery trucks on the street.

But until these services become mainstream, many folks may simply acknowledge the drone scene as a fun hobby. However, some quadcopters, like these devices from Ninja Dragon, could be essential if you’re a videographer looking to spice up your footage. You can get two Ninja Dragons, the Alpha Z Pro and Flying Fox, for $175 or over half off.

Both of these drones feature dual cameras: a 4K front-facing sensor and a 720p lens that points downward. These allow you to capture a bird’s eye view of your surroundings, making for excellent footage during vacations, picnics and special events like weddings. You can adjust the viewpoint by up to 90 degrees, and the Wi-Fi app lets you examine your drone’s POV from your phone in real-time.

The Alpha Z Pro and Flying Fox also offer controls to help you take steady photos and videos. You may change your drone’s position in four-channel mode by raising, lowering, and moving across cardinal directions. Need to capture a timelapse or still image? Toggle altitude hold mode to hover in place. You can even hail the drone back using the one-key automatic return feature.

Besides the colorways (the Alpha Z Pro comes in black while the Flying Fox is silver), these drones have key features setting them apart from each other. The Alpha Z Pro uses a 6-axis gyroscope for smooth navigation, ideal for wide establishing shots. Meanwhile, you can command the Flying Fox to follow you from a fixed distance. It also responds to hand gestures, so you can snap a picture or start recording without using the app.

Camera-equipped drones can make great additions to a photographer or videographer’s arsenal. The Alpha Z Pro and Flying Fox cost $398 when purchased individually, but you can buy them as a bundle for $175.
